When Arnold Miller bumped into Barry Sacks on Harvard Street in Brookline, it was a chance meeting of two former schoolmates from South Africa. MetroWest Tutors Surgeons on Suturless Vessel Closure
Earlier this fall, surgeons across the United States came to MetroWest Medical Center to participate in a tutorial of new sutureless closure technology, featuring surgeons Arnold Miller, M.D., of MetroWest and Wolff Kirsch M.D., of Loma Linda University Medical Center in California.
This new technology, called VCS Clip Applier, was designed to allow surgeons to join vascular structures without penetrating the lumen (the space within an artery or vein) as sutures do. full story |
